MFT Wood Screw XLNT HEX is a construction screw with hex head and flange. Manufactured from tempered steel SAE 10B21 and meets the CE requirement in accordance with. EN 14592. The screw has MFT 2000 C4 type approved surface treatment. Corrosion class C4. Type-approval certificate No. SC1277-17 from RI.SE. The head shape creates a large clamping force when screwing together wood parts, structural timber, laminate systems, etc. The screw has a fiber cut in the tip which minimizes cracking and reduces the torque. On screws longer than 80mm, there is an extra milling thread on the screw stem to provide lower torque. Requires no pre-drilling, which gives a time saving on assembly. Tapered under the head which is adapted for optimal fit in post shoes. Recommended speed: 300-1800 / min. For indoor / outdoor use.
